Fanny Sarnel is a French-qualified lawyer and Associate.
Fanny has experience in a variety of public international law matters, including international investment treaty arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and SCC rules and in cases before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal. She has also worked on investment treaty award annulment proceedings before the Paris Court of Appeal.
Fanny’s advisory work includes recent advice on maritime boundary delimitation. Fanny is also active in our pro bono practice and has worked on pro bono projects involving issues of international human rights and criminal law.
Fanny holds an undergraduate degree in French Law and a Masters degree in European law from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and Université Rennes 1. She also holds a Masters degree in International Economic Law from Sciences Po Law School, Paris and Columbia Law School, New York.
Prior to joining Fietta, Fanny spent time with the Investment Division of the OECD and provided research assistance in international law at Columbia University School of Law, New York.
