Zsófia Young is a New York-qualified lawyer and Associate.
She has substantial experience in public international law and international disputes and she coordinates the firm’s pro bono practice. She has acted as counsel for claimants and respondent States in international investment arbitrations, as well as in commercial arbitration proceedings. She has also advised private entities and States on a variety of other international law issues, including state responsibility and boundary disputes. Zsófia also has a strong interest in international humanitarian law and international criminal law.
Zsófia holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Middlebury College, a JD from the Washington College of Law, American University and an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the School of International Service, American University. Prior to joining Fietta, Zsófia worked at a leading public international law firm and in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court.
