Stephen Fietta and Laura Rees-Evans have been ranked in the Lexology Index: Arbitration 2026, which recognises the leading arbitration practitioners worldwide based on feedback from clients and peers.  Stephen Fietta is identified as a Thought Leader, a distinction reserved for individuals who have performed exceptionally well, representing only around 25–30% of those listed.  Meanwhile, Laura Rees-Evans has been named an Arbitration Future Leader, an accolade limited to practitioners aged 45 and under who are identified as likely to be the pre-eminent names of the next generation.  Fietta’s Lexology rankings can be viewed here.

Legal Directory Rankings – Fietta LLP has again been ranked in the top tier for public international law by both the Chambers UK and Legal 500 directories.  The team was praised for its “exceptional knowledge of international law”, and  “strong work and client commitment”.

Stephen Fietta KC was again recognised as a leading practitioner, being identified as a Star Individual by Chambers and Partners and included in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame.  Laura Rees-Evans and Oonagh Sands were recognised as Legal 500 Next Generation Partners, and Laura was also ranked in Chambers and Partners. Senior Associate Miglena Angelova was recognised by The Legal 500 as a Leading Associate in Public International Law.

2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Litigators guide: Stephen Fietta and Laura Rees-Evans have once again been recognised as leading global litigators by Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Global Litigators guide. They are two of only 17 practitioners listed in the “public international law” category. Book publication – International Arbitration in Practice

Fietta partner Laura Rees-Evans has co-authored a chapter in International Arbitration in Practice, an important new collection edited by Courtney Lotfi, Alicja Zielinska-Eisen and Verónica Sandler Obregón, and published by Wolters Kluwer.  Laura contributed a chapter with Tariq Baloch KC titled “Closing Statements”, which provides a practical overview of the use and art of closing statements in international arbitration proceedings
